Cytokine Status in Patients with Dental Implants

Abstract

Relevance. Inflammatory diseases of dental implantation occupy a significant share in the prevalence of dental pathology. It is known that the pathogenesis of peri-implantitis is associated with dysfunction of dental implantation. To date, local symptomatic treatment of peri-implantitis and ongoing correction of the general somatic disease are insufficient, since these patients cannot achieve stable remission. The study of cytokine levels can largely determine the nature of the course and outcome of the disease.
