Abstract

According to the study, Ivanova A. B. and Petrova S. V. (2023) reported that children with COVID-19 are 30–50% more likely to develop complications, including pneumonia, compared to children without this disease. In addition, Smirnova L. K. (2022) focuses on the immunological and coagulation changes characteristic of the post-COVID condition, which can help identify risk groups and change treatment strategies. Research by Kuznetsov I. Yu. (2023) suggest that elevated D-dimer and fibrinogen levels may be predictors of pneumonia severity.
