Abstract

The thesis examined a method for assessing the digital maturity of enterprise production chains and its link with management efficiency. The author compared the acatech Industrie 4.0 Maturity Index, the IMPULS readiness model and the models of A. Schumacher and co-authors and of A. De Carolis and co-authors, and showed that they were applied mainly within a single plant. A weighted digital maturity index covering procurement, production, logistics, and sales with after-sales service was proposed, and a five-level scoring scale was developed for each stage. World Bank and national statistical data showed that in 2018-2024 the share of manufacturing in GDP rose from 17.5 to 20.0 percent and internet use from 55.2 to 89.5 percent. For construction-materials enterprises, the author justified four proposals for applying the index.
