In an increasingly interconnected world, the role of translators has become more critical than ever. With the expansion of international communication, trade, and diplomacy, the demand for professionals capable of effectively bridging linguistic and cultural divides also increases. Translators are not merely linguistic specialists but also cultural intermediaries who guarantee precise and contextually relevant communication across various domains. This highlights the necessity for comprehensive and contemporary training methodologies that surpass conventional techniques to equip future translators for the challenges of an evolving global environment.A competency-based approach to translator training has arisen as an innovative and effective framework for preparing students with the skills and knowledge necessary for today's professional landscape.
