Abstract

Introduction: Linguistic creativity is a fundamental aspect of human language use, reflecting our ability to generate novel expressions, meanings, and structures within a language. It involves the flexibility to manipulate language creatively, from forming new words to producing innovative linguistic constructions that align with the rules and norms of a language while deviating from them to create new meanings or effects. The concept of linguistic creativity has long been a subject of interest in fields such as linguistics, cognitive science, and artificial intelligence (AI), as it demonstrates not only the richness of language but also the cognitive abilities that underlie its use.
