THEORETICAL FOUNDATION OF THE RESEARCH ON LINGUOCULTURAL ISSUES OF LINGUISTICS
Abstract
Throughout history, the issue of language learning has not lost its relevance as a research object for researchers, and this field has been considered multifaceted. In the early period, its main historical, structural-grammatical, and communicative aspects were consistently studied, while in modern linguistics, the national-cultural, sociolinguistic, psycholinguistic, and cognitive aspects of language began to be widely studied in the anthropocentric paradigm. “Language is not only a mirror of culture that reflects the real existence and real living conditions surrounding a person, but also a collection of social self-awareness, spirituality, national character, lifestyle, customs, morality, values, people’s worldview” [5, 7]. “Language, as a set of skills and ideas inherited from society, characterizing our way of life, cannot exist outside of culture” [6, 185]. In fact, language is an integral part of culture, it is a form of human thinking and a means of communication. Today, the relationship between language and culture is complex and develops harmoniously. In particular, “the native language is transmitted from ancestors to generations in the form of ready-made codes in the spirit, consciousness, and thinking of the people, in other words, in the subconscious experiences of customs, traditions, values, and artistic symbols” [7, 15].Downloads
