Abstract

Linguoculturology is an interdisciplinary field that studies the relationship between language and culture, focusing on how cultural values, beliefs, and traditions are embedded in linguistic structures. This article explores the fundamental concepts of linguoculturology, including linguistic worldview, cultural semantics, and conceptual fields, highlighting their role in understanding intercultural communication. Special attention is given to the connection between language and culture in shaping concepts such as loneliness and hijron in Uzbek and English languages. The findings suggest that linguistic units not only convey information but also reflect and shape cultural identity, making linguoculturology an essential field for language studies.
