Abstract

Scientific research has shown that in every literary period of English literature, many works have been created that depict the image of a woman. In particular, the character of Elizabeth Bennet in Agatha Christie's "Murder on the Ship of the Caravan" and "Miss Marple", Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice", the image of Jane Eyre in Charlotte Bronte's novel "Jane Eyre", the image of Scarlett O'Hara in Margaret Mitchell's "Gone with the Wind". In addition, famous English writers such as Charles Dickens, W. Scott, and Emily Bronte have tried to depict the image of a woman in their works.
