The present study explores the verbalization of the emotion of joy through the concept of laughter in English, Russian, and Uzbek within the framework of linguoculturology and cognitive linguistics. Laughter, as a universal human reaction, functions not only as a non-verbal expression of joy but also as a culturally conditioned linguistic concept reflected in lexical units, phraseological expressions, and evaluative meanings. By conducting a comparative analysis of linguistic data from the three languages, the research identifies both shared and culture-specific features in the representation of joy. The findings demonstrate that while laughter universally conveys positive emotional states, its verbalization is shaped by national mentality, communicative norms, and cultural values inherent in each linguistic community.Downloads
